Dr Baranowski is a highly qualified consultant in pain medicine having worked within the specialised area of pain medicine for over 25 years. In the National Health Service (NHS), he works within the framework of a multidisciplinary pain management centre at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Square. Dr Baranowski employs the same high standard within his private practice where he has a dedicated Multidisciplinary Team.

The Pain Management Centre at the National Hospital serves as a national centre for referral of complex pain patients. Dr Baranowski specialises in the fields of complex spinal, neuropathic and urogenital pains. As well as working with a comprehensive multidisciplinary team, he manages medications and regularly performs a range of complex interventions.

Dr Baranowski is The President of The British Pain Society and works closely with numerous National and International agencies producing guidelines based on the best evidence and to promote best practice in pain medicine. He has held multiple senior positions relating to pain medicine, both nationally and internationally.
